Human Trafficking
Majority of traffickers are migrant works, looking for better jobs to help support their families and escape from poverty. With that in mind they seek jobs that will offer them good pay and they end up hearing about abroad job offering. In this case they are actually being tricked into believing that they will receive a better live style when in reality with will be given the opposite. This kind of action always involves violence, deception or coercion.
Many human traffickers end up getting tied up with debt bondage. Migrants end up borrowing money from family, friends, or loaners in order for them to travel abroad. But once they are abroad thing take a different turn and they don't get what they came for, they still have to pay back all the money they have borrowed. Once trafficked migrants are abroad their passports are taken away from them causing them to not have the right to be in the country.
Human trafficking is mostly a hidden action. It has been estimated that about 2.5 million people are effect by human trafficking and are subject of sexual and labour exploitation. 98 percent of sexual exploiters are women and girls. 56 percent of labour exploiters are also women and girls. In both of these action females are targeted more then males.

Two Vietnamese men in their twenties were recruited in Vietnam to work in a hotel in the UK. They paid the agent £18,000 to arrange the job and came to the UK under the work permit scheme with a promise to receive £4.95 per hour for their work. On arrival in the UK an agent met them at the airport and took their passports away. The men worked in a major hotel chain for two months without receiving any pay. All they were given was food. They attempted to organise a strike at the hotel, but shortly after this their families in Vietnam received threats. The men were too frightened to approach the Vietnamese Embassy or the police, but eventually approached a Citizens Advice Bureau office via a Vietnamese speaking person they met on the street.
